Twenty Questions, almost

I’ve been tagged by Nappy Valley Girl to answer some questions. It’s a list and now that my life is once more defined by “To Do” lists this is one I’m going to rattle off. Besides it’s a welcome distraction from the other rather more ominous things on today's list like;
1. Find home
2. Sell car
3. Book removers

So here goes:

1. What are your current obsessions?
Finding a home.

2. Which item from your wardrobe do you wear most often?
Bra and knickers although pyjamas come a close second.

3. What’s for dinner?
Lasagne. NOT cooked by me. (Enjoy the help, it won’t be around much longer.)

4. Last thing you bought?
Kookai linen trousers.

5.What are you listening to?
My boys talking about boys’ stuff in the dark of their room next door.

6. Favourite kid’s film?
Shrek II

7. Favourite holiday spots?
Amrum in the North Fresian isles, Coll in the Hebrides and the Lizard in Cornwall.

8. What are you reading now?
Submarine by Joe Dunthorne. Jaywalker recommended it.

9. Four words to describe yourself?
Tired, tall, talkative, tidy.

10. Guilty pleasure?
Pedicures.

11. Favourite author?
Lisa St Aubin de Terain

12. First spring thing?
Frangipani flowers. (And to think I thought those trees were dead.)

13. Planning to travel to next?
Xi’an to see the terracotta army.

14. Best thing you ate and drank recently?
Zuma sushi in the Landmark Building. Gin and tonic at Sevva’s rooftop bar.

15. When did you last get tipsy?
Dinner party we threw on Saturday night.

16. Favourite ever film?
The English Patient (another thing we have in common NVG)

17. Care to share some wisdom?
If you plan too soon you plan twice.

18. What new blogs are you reading?
None, I’m always the last to hear…..

19. Biggest regret?
Not having made it to Angkor Wat.

Glad to hear you share my good taste (or is it just that we both fancy Ralph Fiennes?).

Angkor Wat IS amazing. But you could still go there on a future holiday! It may be a bit further from Putney, but it would be worth it.

As for Zuma sushi in the Landmark....when I was there the best meal you could get there was Pizza Hut, so things have obviously moved on a tad!

Angkor Wat great, but I developed a sudden case of vertigo whilst right at the top of the highest temple. Had to be escorted down sweating and shaking. Still time for you to go - but you have been warned!!

Coll? Really? You must have been a PTV at some point...I just remember Coll to be very wet and having to do a lot of digging in a very jolly sort of way. But the beaches looked good if it hadn't been October.

I've been reading about your possible move back to Putney, and thinking about how hard it must be for you. I can't imagine having to change all the plans that you have at that short notice. But, I'm back in Barnes at the moment and it has to be said that the common is looking lovely and I'm really enjoying myself. Good luck with keeping ahead ofthe organisation, hope it is all going ok.

Thanks for tagging me. I was wondering if I was going to get around to a blog post this week - too many other things to think about, but this makes it easy (ish)!

One of my neighbours commented on the irony that when she was living in Asia and had 'help' she had no kids. After she moved to the US and had no 'help' any more she had 2 kids.
